Does SJSU eligibility index guarantee admission?

<p>SJSU lists the majors with the eligibility index number. If your number is higher, does that mean you will get in for sure, or does it just mean that you will be considered. </p>

<p>In my case, I will be applying for computer science, and my number is 1082, while the number listed there is 1080. Does this mean I will get in for sure, or does it only mean that I will be considered for admission? Thanks!</p>
