Does Stanford even consider any additional material?

I know that on their site they said that they don't read any additional material..... so if I sent in an essay about a robot I built that I think really showcases my passion for engineering, will they just chuck it without even reading it?

Thanks =)

Why would you risk annoying anyone dealing with your file? Their rules are quite explicit and you want to blatantly disregard it --- all this for the slimmest of potential boosts by the content of your essay --- I highly advise against it. But it's your file...

I agree with T26E4. You hear over and over from these schools to give them what they want, and not a bunch of other stuff or extra stuff.

You should write that in one of their essays. Dear Roomate or intellectual vitality essays would work.

If it specifically says not to do something, don't do it.

well..... I already did it at the same time I submitted my app.... and THEN read the website (I know..... stupid me) and went OH NO! I hope they don't get too mad....
