Does stanford really not read any supplements you send them?!?

<p>Like I mean come on, do they just throw it out? or glance at it and get ****ed cause the applicant didn't follow instructions :O</p>

<p>I read threads on here (like many) where the adcom is loving the supplemental material the applicant sends and then I see a couple of thread saying its a terrible idea.</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure other unis like the ivys dont mind looking at any extra material we send in provided that its not regurgitating things. can someone just verify this for me?

<p>i talked to my admit officer. even though i was admitted, she says for ALL students, they simply discard all supplementary materials (except for arts and athletic supplements). it is their policy to not even read it</p>
