Like many others, my SAT score reports were delayed and received by Stanford a couple of days ago. The sent scores aren’t updated yet on the portal but I just want to make sure admissions has them before they go through my application. I’m wondering if the portal will even show that they received my new scores (including subject tests), and if so can I expect it to be updated soon?
I checked once and they didn’t have my scores. A few hours later and they did, so they definitely are updating when they receive them.
Stanford will update them as they are received. They are stating that it is not an issue for REA applicants to be missing something until 17th at which point they are asking missing items to be faxed. I assume this mainly applies to transcripts and recommendations. Your self reported scores are already available to them to start reviewing your application.
@texaspg Interesting. So even though Collegeboard says the score were “sent” a few days ago, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ve been received? Or does it take a few days beyond the sent status for Stanford to actually update?
Are you sure collegeboard sent the scores? Check when they were actually sent.
For each college it should say when - like this.
That’s exactly what it says. But the portal doesn’t show any update.
Unless the collegeboard system and the college system are linked to each other for score transfer, the update shouldn’t be expected immediately. If that were the case, collegeboard won’t be making that money selling expedited score services to the gullible parents and students.
