<p>Hey everyone,
i just got my acceptance letter and was wondering if stony brook has a good undergrad economics program. I saw some rankings (Gourman and NRC) that it's like 38 in the nation which is really high up there but was wondering if that is true?</p>
<p>Honestly, I am majoring in economics in stonybrook and I find the economics department atrocious compared to their other programs. I am in 300 level classes and it is all being taught by grad teachers who understand very little english and fails to explain questions properly. The economics department has taken huge cuts int he past from professors leaving the department for better schools.</p>
