I'm an Electrical Engineer, and would like to do a study abroad. I'm wondering, though, whether it would look good on my resume when I apply to a grad school, or it just wouldn't matter.

probably doesn’t matter for grad school, but might help you stand out to an employer. (especially if you learn a language).

Engineers and males are the minorities of studying abroad (assuming you are under those categories).

It won’t matter for grad school, except what courses you take at the partner college. However, there are valuable experiences not reported on the resume that you will find rewarding (socially and academically).
