does syracuse have a competitive biochemistry program?

what i mean is that is it competitive to get accepted into?

i am interested in becoming a biochemistry major.

on a chemistry class i took, i received a 73.
on a biology class i took, i recieved a 78.
on a physics class i took, i recieved a 96.

^ these are all FINAL AVERAGES!

can my poor grades in biology and chemistry affect my admission into a school's biochemistry program?

I found a love in science late! The Chem and Bio classes were before i actually started to like science!

Is it a better idea to sign up for a History Major (90+ on each class i took) and then switch it to Biochemistry?

or is it better to go undecided?
