A ton of kids in my class are taking Physics, or US History, over the summer to "get it over with." Now, my personal opinion is that it's not as great to take it over the summer. I feel both classes are more important than they give credit. They act like Physics is really nothing. However, what is the college's take on this? Does it look any worse if you take a course over the summer instead of over the year?

I took AP US History online “to get it over with” since it seemed really tedious in-school. I personally say it looks fine as long as you do well in the AP Course/Exam.

Remember…when you take a summer course…the grade does not go towards your GPA. So if you have a tough subject that will bring down you GPA then take it in the summer. and take another language class during the yr…that always looks good for college
