Does taking subject tests in different subjects make one seem more "well-rounded"?

I've taken Math II, Biology, and Physics and have done well on them. However, I know people who have taken 4 or more subject tests. I've heard differing opinions on whether there's a point in taking more than 3 tests. Also, since the three tests I've taken so far are math/science related, do you think it would be in my best interest to take a test in the humanities (probably US or World history)? Math and science are my strengths, but I'm sure I could do well on either history tests with a bit of studying... is it worth the effort?

I think a humanities test would make you seem more well-rounded, provided you score well.

As for taking 3+ tests, I don’t see why not if you have available funds (Subject Tests really don’t cost that much compared to SAT, ACT, AP, etc.) and are well prepared. I plan on taking tests 4 and 5 in May right after studying for and taking the AP exams in those subjects (Chem and USH). I wouldn’t recommend studying your ass off solely to get an 800 if you already have 2 or 3 decent scores.

Yeah I’d take a few, around 3-4. At least 1 science, 1 humanity, and a math. Then take another in whatever area you want to show your greatest strength.
Show your good at one field, but still well rounded as you say
