Does the ACT slightly curve up grades?

^ .

I don't quite get you

^^ same :?

i think he means does it curve a little

Er, it rounds up, if that's what you mean.

a 35.5 would be rounded to a 36.

a 35.25 would be rounded down to a 35.

I think he is asking about the curves in the ACT?
idk
dwag, make it clear.

in terms of the rounding that Pro28 said, then yes

in terms of curving as in the actual scaling of the scores, then it depends on how everyone does as a whole.... if many many people miss one or 2 particular questions, they may either throw the questions out or make it to where if you miss them, your scaled score won't go down (or won't go down as much as it usually would)... but if many people do well, then the curve is more strict

for example:

in the april ACT, the reading was -1 = 34.... strict curve..... but, the math was -1 = 36.. more of a lenient curve because of its difficulty
