I am currently studying at a business school, I took some core liberal art classes, but I also took some business classes( because I thought I want to study business). But now I feel like I am going to engineering instead, so I want to transfer to an engineering school.

when I apply for transferring, if the admission office saw I took many business classes, instead of all core liberal art class, am I in a disadvantage compare to other students .

you need to contact the college in question and ask that question.

can anyone give me more suggestion, I am going to transfer to NYU by the way

I emailed nyu a while back and the lady told me to stick to a liberal arts education. And I wasn’t quite sure what she meant by that so I asked her again and I asked if that just means GEs and she said yeah. And nyu doesn’t have nyu requirement. But certain majors have pre reqs

I see what you saying, but my school is a business school, and I finish most of my core liberal classes( only 2 more left), so I can only take those business classes now. IDK what should I do, I think i am not going to business
