Does the difference between an A- and an A really matter?

<p>I've gotten a string of A-'s in nearly all of my academic classes and my transcript will show this. Now do colleges disregard the + and -'s? Is it THAT big of a difference? Or will colleges regard an A- or A+ as A's?</p>

<p>It will probably depend upon the college - and on your HS's reputation with the college. Does your HS provide information on your class rank?</p>

<p>Yes I am 6th with a 3.9 GPA.</p>

<p>I don't think much of a difference except maybe HYP.</p>
