Hi, I’m an incoming senior who is going for the IB diploma. My question is can I take Further Math as a 7th subject, with 4 other HLs (math chem physics econ) and still get the diploma with Further Math as a certificate subject? Or am I forced to drop one by IB regulations (I have no idea)? Thanks!
My understanding is that there’s no need to take HL math if you’re taking further math HL.as further math includes all of HL.
Oh really? but I think Math HL is prerequisite to Further Math (i.e. you cant take further math in place of math hl)
Yeah I meant that I didn’t think it counted as a 7th class, but it seems it does.
You don’t take multiple courses from group 5…
