Does the major I declare affect my chances?

<p>Will it make a difference?</p>

<p>Also, the EC's I was involved the most in were English/humanities heavy, but I declared a Biology major (I had a good SATII and AP score but no activities related to it). Will they look for consistencies? Will that hurt my chances?</p>

<p>Nope, it won't matter. English and biology majors all belong in the College of Letters and Science, which doesn't regard your choice of major in its admissions.</p>
