Does the Red Book (3rd Ed.) contain same tests as the Red Book (2nd Ed.)?

Hello,

I know the Red Book (3rd Ed.) has two extra tests, relative to the 2nd Edition version; however, I was wondering if any of the other three tests within the 3rd Edition were the same as those three within the 2nd Edition Red Book?

Also, I have a similar question in regards to the 1,296 Princeton Review 3rd and 2nd editions.

For what it's worth, I'm currently tutoring/mentoring a HS senior for the ACT and college admissions. Therefore, I'm trying to get her more of the best practice tests I can (she's already worked through 1,296 3rd Ed., and we have the 3rd Ed. Red Book and 2014 Cracking the ACT to go). Based off of my own personal experience, along with the experience of my peers in the past, the Princeton Review books have always been the most comparable ACT practice exams that are not real and retired versions of the actual ACT exam.

I'm open to suggestions, though, in the event that nobody can answer the above questions.

Thanks!

Yes, the three tests in the 2nd Edition of ACT Red book are repeated in the 3rd Edition. If you need additional tests you could use the two practice tests that are part of the Official Online ACT course, it is not really a course: <a href=“The ACT Test for Students | ACT”>http://www.actstudent.org/onlineprep/

Thanks.

Appreciate it!

The three tests in the 2nd Edition of ACT Red book are the same as the 3rd Edition. You will not have 7 unique tests if you buy both.
