does the school you choose for premed really matter?

<p>how hard is it to get into an ivy league med school (or any prestigious med school, for that matter) with an undergrad degree from a not so highly ranked university? Would they look down on it? Is it a negative on my application? </p>

<p>There was an 11 page thread on this topic. Please read it. Short answer is that what school you went to has some effect, but strong applicants from any school can get in anywhere.</p>
