Does the testing watch have to be analog?

So basically I have a silent digital watch that I used for my SAT/ACT’s and it all went fine. However, for some reason my AP Lang teacher is super adamant about us using an analog watch rather than a digital watch. Considering I invested in a digital watch, I do not really want to spend even more money on an analog one. Is there some rule that is specific to AP testing that doesn’t allow one to use a digital watch? I have yet to locate such rule… Thanks for taking a look at this guys.

I’ve been taking APs for three years now, and I’ve always used a digital watch! There’s definitely no rule about it being analog vs digital; it just can’t access the internet, and then you’ve already got the no-beeping thing covered. Good luck!

Thank you very much @HopeTsai !!!

I think the concern is that it NOT be an Iwatch or anything similar. So I would vote for a $15 watch from Target-- one that’s obviously NOT hi tech.
