My GPA is 3.04 overall 3.4 in MDC.
I expect to finish December.
I only have taken 1 preprofessional and got an A
I only have preprofessional classes left.
BTW I know spanish, must I take 8 credits of spanish?

i dont know-they say meet the requirements but i dont see any guarantees; my friend did just transfer from miami dade to uf though, but i dont believe her major is engineering. but to my understanding i thought they said transfers(AA) are guaranteed admission to a "state" university, just might not be their choice though.

you should call uf admissions and talk with the counselors at dade. and you can also call uf engineering office since thats where you're trying to head.

"Upon satisfactory completion of this program, with a combined minimum technical grade point average of 2.5 in the mathematics and natural sciences categories, students will be directly admitted into the College of Engineering, subject to compliance with University of Florida admission requirements."

That sounds like a guarantee to me. It is over 10 years old though, so I'd either call UF or look for a more recent copy.

You could probably call UF and set up an appointment to take a language test and prove you know Spanish, but I think it would be much easier to just take the SAT Subject Test in Spanish and then send your score to UF. They let undergrads admitted as freshman get out of the language requirement with certain subject test scores so I don't see why you couldn't.

Even if the agreement is still in force, it could be interpreted as not necessarily guaranteed admission. Look at the requirements. It says that the student must be in compliance with UF admission requirements. That could be interpreted to read that you have to apply for general admission to the university and then if you are admitted you would receive admission to the program automatically.

A lot has changed at the university and within the higher ed system in FL over the last 13 years. I would suggested checking with UF, but I wouldn't be surprised if the policy is not in force anymore. If you look at the bottom, it says that the agreement can be terminated at any time by either party.
