Two of my uncles and two of my cousins went to Amherst, I wanted to know if that helps me at all in admission. Thanks.

No it does not. Only moms and dads.

What about a sibling at Amherst, does that help?

Yes, that counts as a legacy in admission and would allow you a meeting with Dean Tom Parker and a bit of special consideration.

I phoned today to ask for an interview for a sibling and was told that it is not offered. Suggestions?

My understanding is that Amherst does not do interviews. Just make sure they know in the application process that this is a legacy. If I am not mistaken, there was a spot to check off on the application.
