Does this count as an EC?

<p>Would self-studying an AP class that is not offered in my school and then taking the AP exam be considered an EC? After all, the class is outside the school curriculum, which fits the literal definition of EC, and yet it is something that would normally be considered part of academics. I did spend a lot of time on it, but it isn't reflected in my transcript (it is however reflected in my AP scores) since the school doesn't even offer the school, so I thought it would have to go into EC.</p>

<p>It is one of the harder APs, that's why I really want to have it mentioned somewhere other than just my AP exam scores...</p>

<p>Anyway, I thought it would count because in the section where you fill in your ECs, “academics” is one of them but I did not really understand what they meant by “academics”. I assumed they meant academic work done outside of school… which is why I felt like listing this…</p>
