I took chemistry sophomore year for the first time. It was honors chemistry and there was a regular college-preparatory class. The same goes for Physics my junior year. This counts as a UC honors course, right? It had a final exam and was harder than the college-prep course obviously.
If you are in California, look your school up on https://hs-articulation.ucop.edu/agcourselist#/list/search/all to see if those courses qualify as honors for UC. It is likely that they don’t count as honors, because usually only Precalc Honors and post-AP classes count as honors. Sometimes a specialized English or history class will count as honors.
If you are not in California, then no. Only AP, IB, and dual-enrollment count as honors out of state.
