<p>My 4-H Club creates donation boxes to give to a local children's hospital. For calculating service hours on an application, do I say how many hours we spent making the donations? Or is it only the time spent at the hospital volunteering?</p>

<p>You normally report the total hours committed to activity, but if you are reporting your 4-H involvement as a separate activity, all club activities including this one should be in that entry. In the description include mention of help in community.</p>
<p>I’m not reporting 4-H in community service. The app is asking for specific ”service activities” so I was going to separately mention the organizations that I serviced through 4-H.</p>
