Does this count as legacy status?

My father got his Masters at NYU, so does that make me a legacy for undergrad? There was an option for Masters degree on the commonapp, so I guess it must hold some weight. Here are my stats. Do you think I have any chance at all?
I am a white male homeschooled student from Florida.

GPA: 3.8 UW

ACT: 29 (average for some of these schools, low for others)

I have taken many courses through dual enrollment, getting A’s in all except one (B+).

I took higher level math courses (Calc in sophomore year).

I’ve taken interesting classes, taking advantage of my homeschooled status(e.g. Python programming, Astronomy, Philosophy, Ethics).

My ECs:

Volunteer at local animal shelter with 100+ hours.

Accepted to two different competitive internships at a sea turtle hospital, spent over 115+ hours over the summer.

Tae Kwon Do for 13 years, currently have my 2nd degree black belt. I have been an assistant teacher to the younger classes for the past year.

Hapkido for 2 years.

Part of my local highschool’s varsity bowling team for the past two seasons. Team captain the most recent season. (I was allowed to participate since I’m in the zone for the school). (I submitted a video of me bowling)

I have won mutiple tournaments and qualified for state tournaments in bowling.

I just recently qualified for Junior Gold, which is a national tournament.

I have a job at a local ice cream shop that I’ve held for the past 4 months or so.

I’ve built computers since around freshman year. I listed this as a hobby.

My letter of recommendations are pretty good, two from my dual enrollment professors (english, philosphy). One from my past physics teacher. A couple others from my bowling coach and Tae Kwon Do teacher. 7.5-8/10 probably.

My Essay is good in my opinion. Since I’ve homeschooled I’ve traveled the world with my dad. I tried to steer clear of the cliche “Seeing different cultures changed who I am as a person,” and made it more personal. 8/10.

My supp essay is good in my opinion, shows why NYU specifically is great for me, 7.5-8/10 ish.

It counts as legacy, but I’ve never gotten the impression that legacy is much of a hook at NYU.

Too many rec letters for NYU. At the info session we attended tgey highlighted that they only ask for one (apart from guidance counselor) and generally applicants should not send more than two. Remember AOs are reading through everyone’s apps. They do not want to be reading 5 or 6 letters per applicant (paraphrasing what they said).

ACT on the low side for NYU, below 25th percentile, but interesting rest of application. Hard to say chances on balance especially for RD. What major/school are you applying for? That matters.

I applied for European and Mediterranean studies, since it aligns pretty well with my application. Not sure if I actually want to major in that though. I also applied for CAS, but I said they could stick me in Liberal Arts Core if I didn’t get into CAS.

If a school asks for two letters of recommendation, they will read the first two they see. Are you prepared for that outcome? Only send two so you can control what they read.

That’s not what NYU said at their info session. They said they will read everything you send, but they also warned that generally nothing of value is added past the first two, and if any of the others are not as good as the first two “once seen they cannot be unseen”. In other words more is more likely to hurt than help.
