Hi. So I have this problem. My dad went to a college I really want to go to for 1 year, but after the first year, his dad took him out because they couldn't afford the tuition. He did very well in the year, joining a bunch of clubs and all that. The school is NU, if that has any importance. Anyway, does this count as legacy or have any significance in the application process? I feel like it won't, but I just wanna be sure. Thanks.

Your mom or dad must have GRADUATED from the college for you to be considered a legacy. That’s the ‘rule’ at most colleges.
