<p>I'm taking AP Physics B and my teacher is horrible, but I know the material very well since I took regular physics before and I have a 94 in the class (the AP class). Is tutoring a fellow classmate/friend during my lunch period considered an EC?</p>
<p>It is if it’s done through an official school program. Otherwise, you’re just being a good friend.</p>
<p>It’s noteworthy. Good thing to throw into an essay somewhere or talk about in an interview. It is not an EC, especially considering it was merely during lunch. Helping out during school falls in of the realm of normal curriculum. If your teacher had assigned you to tutor him, it’d be a different story.</p>
