Does this course count for UC second composition requirement?

This is a pretty specific question, I know, but I’d appreciate any help. For my 2nd English Composition course, I listed the ENGL 1050 class (at CSULA) Argumentative Writing and Critical thinking. The course description seems to match up with what they want from English Composition 2, but Berkeley doesn’t have it listed as a course on their list with CSULA. anyone know about this?

Not really sure…
However, is ENGL 2010 class -Intermediate College Writing at CSULA, transferable or does it fulfill your requirement for second English Composition course?

Maybe contact UC and ask!

@AeroDE I’m 97% sure 2010 is transferrable, according to the Berkeley website. Unfortunately I took 1050 instead ? as it was recommended for major at CSULA. However, the course descriptions for 1050 and 2010 were pretty similar…hoping the UC’s see that and agree

I went on assist for my junior college to your school, CSULA. And my junior college articulates 2 english classes to berkeley.

They have english 1010 as freshman english class
and english 2010 as sophomore english class.

I used assist from your school to berkeley… here.

English 1010 and 2010 Seem like the 2 courses required.

@ollie1029

Who reccomended u to take 1050. That sucks man lol

@bruins8clap advisors…guess I shouldn’t have listened to them. Wow this sucks…at least I’m already at a 4 year though, even if this does disqualify me from all the UCs at least I have a decent bit going for me here at CalState

@ollie1029

Yeah sucks man. Well if you keep your GPA up in junior and senior year, I assume there would be no problem for you getting into good graduate schools or finding work.
