Prompt: "What work of art, music, science, mathematics, or literature has surprised, unsettled, or challenged you, and in what way?"

Does an anecdote from observing a surgery fall under a "work of science"? It's a bit abstract, but isn't science involved in making the surgery operable? I just want to make sure I don't waste my time on something that is off topic.

Did observing that surgery surprise, unsettle, or challenge you?

It prompted several emotions, but yes, it surprised me in a way.

Then I would say go for it! That most certainly is a work of science. The average person will say the cure for polio or artificial organs, so I think you’re really taking a good risk by talking about something personal. Good job.
