Does this ExtraCurricular/Honor/Award Look REALLY Good? I just got it and am PUMPED!

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I'm a senior applying to college. Already applied to UCS. Just got results for a competition I participated in. I participated in the DECA Ideas 2012 Challenge, in which a team has to reinvent a plastic bag and make it worth more than it is now. What my team did was create plastic accessories using 23 plastic bags, quite unique really. </p>

<p>The results came out today. We came out at #1. #1 team out of 400+ teams internationally for reinventing the plastic bag. </p>

<p>Does this new award look REALLY good to colleges? I'm so excited and I think it can really help my chances with colleges, since I have low GPA, relatively high ACT and another solid EC for my major.</p>

<p>It looks pretty good. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of that competition, but if it’s related to your major, it can only help.</p>

<p>DECA is a HUGE business and entrepreneurship organization. This is a business/innovativeness type of award lol.</p>

<p>my major is computer engineering. My other solid EC is that I use YouTube to share my psasion for tech through helpful guides and reviews.</p>
