<p>I was selected as a delegate for Girls State. I'd like to put this on my app but I'm not sure if it goes under ECs or summer programs since it was through the American Legion but we stayed at a university campus or could I put it under both? Also, can I write my EC essay on my time there (since I want to go into politics and IR I thought it would show more interest) or not since it was a one time thing? Should I just write about a normal volunteering/EC activity?</p>
<p>There is no section called “summer programs.” It goes under extracurricular activities, and since it’s an extracurricular activity, you can write your short answer on it.</p>
<p>Ok, thanks. And by summer programs I meant there’s a part that states, “If you have attended any other Secondary Schools, summer schools, or programs since ninth grade, check this box”</p>
<p>But those are under the secondary schools section, and since Girls State isn’t at a secondary school, you shouldn’t put it there.</p>
