Today--during one of my classes--a girl that I know was asked "where are you applying"
by one of my fellow classmates. I don't know about you, but I am always very interested in whatever the person's reply is--assuming that he or she is a good student. I also sort of panic, wondering whether or not the person answering the question is applying to the same schools to which I am applying. Does anyone else worry about things like this? I know it is irrational because none of us have the ability to control where our peers apply, but it still kind of worries me.

i only worry about what colleges other people are applying too only if that person has better stats than me or on par with me.

I agree with nervus breakdown. I could give a flying **** where anybody else is applying. I only care if they are applying to the same school as me with better stats lol.

No.

Umm… I’m applying to my state school (my school has an 87% acceptance rate there from the past 3 years… and a 100% acceptance rate last year) and I’m applying to a school that most people at my school say “Where’s that?”

It’s only worrisome if you think the other person has a better shot than you.

The chances of you seeing them with the other thousands at the that college are thin…most colleges at least. You know?
