Does this look bad? I got the same exact score (2080), but different subscores...

I'm not even considering Ivy leagues, just going to a state school or something.

But:

Previous
800 Writing
720 Reading
560 Math

2080 Total

This time:
690 Writing (nooo!)
740 Reading
650 Math (better)

2080 Total
So will the huge drop in the writing make it look uneven, does that null my 800 in their heads or something. :(

On the contrary, if you submit both many schools will take the best subsection scores that will actually benefit you.

monstor344 -

so would her score be

800 Writing
740 Reading
650 Math

Total 2190

how the heck did you go from an 800 in writing to a 690?

Lots of schools will “superscore” taking the highest individual score from each section giving you a superscore of 2190. Writing is not nearly as critical as the math/reading sections - some schools only look at math/reading scores. You have a 1390 from one sitting on that combination. Do not sweat the fluctuation in one score. Look at the websites and see how they score and what they use.
