So i'm still mulling over my senior year schedule. This is what it looks like right now.

Classes taking at school:
AP Econ/Gov
AP Statistics
AP Physics
Choir

Classes taking concurrently at a junior college:
Trigonometry
Spanish 4 (i've already taken all the spans my school has to offer)
English 1A (general freshman English at any college)

The spring semester I would take ..
Pre calculus
English 1B
Spanish 5
General Nutrition or Astronomy

Taking the 3 JC classes first semester will definitely keep me busy.. but do you think my 4 classes in high school will be looked down upon?

How are you taking AP Physics before taking Calculus?
At my school you have to be concurrently taking AP Calculus BC in order to take that class...hmm...

we don't have block schudule.. just the same 6 period everyday. I'm not going to be in calculus next year and we generally don't have prereq's at my school. you just take what u want.

So, basically i'm taking 6 full academic classes that semester. I'll probably never have all 7 classes on the same day. but I like th eway my schedule works out w/ the jc classes. I'll have more time to devout to homework as well as extra curriculars

well, for ap physics, knowing some basic calculus will definetely help. simple power rule, chain rule, product and quotient rules...differentials, etc. you can probably find enough basic calc in your apphys text, however =).

only ap c. b is more of a survey course in that it covers alot of topics in less depth, so calculus really doesn't come into play at all.

but really, the amount of calculus you need for ap c isn't that much. just spend a few hours learning some of the basics, and just refer as you need [unless of course, you're in calculus, in which case you shouldn't just learn the basics;)]...
