<p>“Yep” was in response to your thread title. I do think that it is a challenging schedule for a sophomore, and I certainly wish you the best in being able to handle it well.</p>
<p>Well I know AP Computer Science well enough that I can already make games & apps in java. And Varsity Orchestra is a joke class at my school, and I’m not bragging. BUT BUT BUT</p>

<p>Well, a student is generally more prepared to take AP classes the further along in school they are. Thus, for those in the AP program, Freshman generally take 0-1, Sophomores generally take 1-3, and Juniors and Seniors generally take a significant amount. Of course, it varies, and I know people who have taken a few freshman year, and several sophomore year is possible. You need to acquaint yourself with the kind of work you’ll be doing, and see if you can handle it. If you can’t, 2 AP classes sophomore year will still look good.</p>
