Does this mean there is hope and how did this happen?!?!?

My highschool stats:

3.4 GPA (out of 4.0)
21 ACT composite
No AP classes
African American
Cheerleading for four years, varsity two, currently captain
First generation college student

I have recently gotten into Fresno State University and San Diego State University.
I knew that I was going to get into Fresno State but was really suprised about SDSU because they have a 30% acceptance rate and their average GPA is 3.7 which is obviously higher than mine. I am not sure how I got in but I am happy that I did! What do you my chances are for the other schools I applied to based on this? And can anyone explain how the admissions office chooses what people they want to except?

CSU - Long Beach
UCLA (I know there is no possible way I am getting into this school lol I just didnt want to regret not applying there)
UCSB
USC (I know there is no possible way I am getting into this school lol I just didnt want to regret not applying there, but I also had an interview with them)
UCI
UCR

I forgot to add that I live in Washington state. And for my essay I wrote about my "hardship" of hating the color of my skin.

*I am new to this site and I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum

I’m glad you were accepted. Race is not supposed to play a role in the California state schools, but you wrote it in the essays which might have made race a factor.

CSU - Long Beach - match
UCLA - out of reach
UCSB - reach
USC - high match to low reach. Being a URM will significantly increase your chances here.
UCI - reach
UCR - low reach

CSULB: High match
UCLA: Reach (you were correct in saying that it is unrealistic)
USC: Reach (even if it is reachable, it’s still a pretty high reach)
UCSB: Reach
UCI: Reach
UCR: Match

CSULB: High match
UCLA: High Reach
USC: Reach
UCSB: Ow Reach
UCI: Low Reach
UCR: Match
