Does this qualify as a 'gap in education?'

During my junior year of high school I took an ROP class, AUTOCAD. The instructor of this course happened to teach the identical course at the community college I attend now at night at said high school. Since the courses were essentially the same, the instructor provided the forms to enroll in the community college and receive credit for the course (during my junior year of high school).

My college transcript shows that I took the course in the summer of 2005 at the community college, while I was still in High School. Does this qualify as a gap in education?

I’d say it doesn’t because you were still in high school getting an education.

As for me, I left community college after one year and joined the Air Force…now I’m back at the same community college six years later. THAT is a gap. ;-)

Any time you are not enrolled in a school, high school or community college, with the exception of summer terms; you have a gap in education. Just ask yourself, was there a fall/winter/spring term that I wasn’t taking courses through a high school, college or University. If yes, then you have a gap in education.
