i think ur physics score totally kills the rest of the application (which is amazing by the way), since ur applying for engineering, any SAT II scores outside of science and math are irrelevent, submitting the US history score is like submitting a really nice blank sheet of paper........all that really matters for u is ur math and physics score.

So walk into the january SAT if u can please to improve the physics score.

But please dont take this the wrong way....u still have a decent shot in every one of ur schools, but honestly if u score this low in the SAT II physics (which practically gets the highest number of perfect scores), it'll look pretty bad since ur applying for engineering.

PS. tufts is a great college, but why engineering ?

Okay.

lhdc - Cornell engineering requires the submittance of a science SAT for admission, as well as many of the other schools.

sniper-z - How would retaking the test help me if I have less than three weeks to study along with my rediculously busy schedule if I haven't still learned the material. I just don't know what to do with that one, because I could end up getting a low 600 again. I started E&M for the first time in class today. Not even joking. I didn't do waves or optics. Minimal thermo. Not prepared. I'm great at mechanics, because I've spent a lot of time on it. I really don't think taking it again is going to help, I might go to take it, and cancel my score unless i felt I did extremely well. But I don't know if theres much use at this point.

What's wrong with tufts engineering? I know it's not a top program in the country. But it's a school I fell in love with, and their program isn't bad at all. I also love the potential of an IR major/double major.

bump please help me out here.
