does this schedule look ok?

<p>i know this won't look rigorous compared to many of the schedules on here, but it's considered quite rigorous at my high school, where an accelerated class (a level below honors) is equal to honors classes elsewhere (this coming from students who have changed high schools). 5 classes is what's usually done here, and i'm adding a 6th with peer mentoring so just to give background info, i am taking more classes than average for my school. with that in mind, how does my schedule for next year look to you?</p>

<p>AP Euro
AP English Lit
AP Calc BC
Honors International Relations
Accelerated French V
Peer Mentoring
Bioethics
Chorus</p>

<p>and i'll probably self-study at least 2 of these:
AP French
AP Environmental Science
AP Macroeconomics </p>

<p>i'll also be studying arabic at a nearby language institute </p>

<p>if it makes a difference, i'm going to be an IR major which is why I'm not taking an AP science class (i know that AP french might be better, but i decided i wanted one easy class in my schedule since the 3 APs are very time consuming, probably the hardest classes in the school, and i still want to have time to enjoy senior year.)</p>

<p>It seems fine; I think that you have a good amount of challenging courses.</p>

<p>Just make sure that you don’t take on more than you can handle.</p>

<p>@wesley108: it’s this really cool class that counts as a science but is a little more humanities-related; we debate about things like abortion, euthanasia, and designer babies. it won’t look as good as an AP class since it’s unleveled, but it’s the only science class that i could fit into my schedule and i think i’ll have a much better time in it.</p>

<p>Bioethics sounds really interesting. I would take it! Makes your transcript look interesting too. Not everyone will have that on theirs, like AP biology for example.</p>
