Does this schedule seem too hard to you? (Junior Year)

I’m not sure yet what my classes will be for next year but I wrote down several different possible schedules for the next two years and my favorite one’s junior year looks like this:
IB HL English 1 (AP Lit)
IB HL History 1 (AP US History)
AP Calc BC
SL Spanish 1
AP Biology
SL Physics (AP Physics)

I put the AP and IB courses for some because I’m not entirely sure if I’m going to do the IB program. What I’m really worried about here are the two sciences. I have no background in Biology or Physics so I don’t know how well I’ll do. Plus, I already got a B this year and I’m trying to stop that from happening again. So do you think it’d be too much to take these two sciences without background in either?

Yes. Particularly as the schedule in total is very challenging. Physics may be OK, but I think Bio will overwhelm you.

Oh no. Well, my other option would be to take AP Bio and AP Psychology junior year and then do Physics senior year. Anyone else want to weigh in?

Be careful about doing AP Biology next year - especially considering that you haven’t taken a Bio related course before. AP Bio is a very rigorous AP course (I’m learning that the hard way this year) and will probably have a time consuming workload.

But of course, I don’t know your situation (or you) as well as you do. What science courses have you taken so far? Did you take any chemistry related courses (because that would definitely help to some extent)? In general, how do you feel about science classes - do you like them? are you good at them? Can you honestly manage AP Bio along with your planned course load? These are questions you need to ask yourself before you sign up. Good luck!

Thanks. I’ve taken Chemistry and I’m currently taking AP Chemistry. First semester was pretty easy, I got an A+, but this semester I have a B so far. It’s a lot harder this semester because everything we’re learning is new. Hopefully, I’ll bring it up.

Yes, I do like science courses, but I like all my courses so they don’t really stand out in that regard.
