I 'm thinking of double majoring in english and philosophy and minoring in stats. the two majors are what i really want, and that minor is just like a safety fallback. haha. not sure what i'd do after i graduate, but just wanted to be a bit safe when i get into the job market.

well whatever, i just wanted opinions.

...Oya...

Look, I think you're doing this all wrong lol.

Number one: if you don't know what you want to do, take courses that you LIKE; that's it.

Wait out those two years until you have to chose a major. What is all this marketing crap that highschoolers are thinking about now?

A college degree only goes so far: it's going to prepare you for that FIRST job and then you rely on work expierence. Seriously, don't worry about graduating until you are a junior. Get your gen. eds. out of the way (take the ones you LIKE remember) and then when you've found a major, go at it. Don't start taking all these stats classes so you have something to "fall back on."

I AM a junior in college.

english and philosophy sounds pretty cool. im thinking about doubling in anthropology and philosophy.

awesome. what are your plans for after graduation? or you don't want to worry about that yet? just curious. :)

"I AM a junior in college."

Something that should of been brought to attention before hand...

In that case, no idea. I still think the idea of a fallback MINOR is kind of dumb.

haha, well... i only need 4 more classes for a stat minor. i don't see why not...

i dont have specific plans at this stage yet. if i were just to do philosophy then i would be completely lost. but if i do decide to throw the anthro in there then i guess ill see where that takes me after graduation. seems a little more focused than phil even tho theyre both liberal art degrees. (anthropologist, archeologist. etc. )
