Does this still count as 4 years of math?

I took precalc h in 9th, AP Stat and AP Calc in 10th, and Calc BC in 11th. So My school has no more maths, unless I took calc 3 at via dual enrollment with my local CC (i didnt do that this year).

Does that still count as 4 years of math for colleges? Even though I did it in 3 years?

Looks like four credits to me. I think, although it’s not necessary, it would be beneficial to dual enroll, IMO. You still have four years of math either way, though.

-------------------------------------------If it is to be, it is up to me…

If you have all the math that your school carries you will get credit for four years.

You are fine. They do not expect anything beyond Calc BC and when counting to four they include what would normally be high school classes taken in junior high. So if you took high school algebra and geometry in junior high, you actually have 6 years.

Completing precalculus/trigonometry shows that you have completed what is traditionally high school senior level math (and if you are applying to UC and/or CSU, completing precalculus/trigonometry with a C or higher grade officially fulfills the entire math requirement for applying to those schools). Calculus and more advanced math beyond that is gravy. But it does generally look better to take any more advanced courses that are offered at your school.

However, be aware that university or community college math will cover material at twice the speed that you took calculus at, since your school appears to be spreading a year of calculus into two years.
