October 2012: 800 CR 680 M 800 W

November 2012: 780 CR 700 M 730 W

I have already sent both of these scores. What's worrying me know is that yes, i have a 2300 but at a cost. i went up only 20 points in Math and decreased significantly in Writing. Will colleges (especially selective ones) look down on that? Or do they truly look at solely your highest scores and disregard the rest?

You should try going to a community college first and then transfer out… haha jk. But yeah colleges either look at your highest score or your super score, so don’t worry too much.

2300…and bad… in the same sentence…

But getting more serious… what I see is someone who is very smart, but only slightly better than average in math. I think unless you’re an engineering or math major, you needn’t worry. Focus on the other components of your application. If you’re good at math and this really bothers you, take the mathII test.

Edit: Well, it’s more than slightly better than average math score, just not absolutely fantastic

Calm down. Seriously. Your scores are fine.

Thanks guys, you’re reassuring. And Thurday8 you’re spot-on. I’m not very well-rounded; my strengths are definitely in humanities, not math. Certianly not planning to be a mathematician or engineer…
