I transfer from a college and planning on apply to graduate school in future. I’m wondering about the transfer GPA. Does the GPA from my previous institution will be part of my graduate admission process? Or does it calculate into my final GPA in graduate admission process? Thanks for all!!
in general yes, but every app is different. Some grad schools want to see all transcripts/grades; others, just the transcript from which you received your degree, and there are those in the middle: transcripts from any college in which you attended FT for at least one year.
GPA calcs are all over the board too. Cum for any and all college coursework, including Dual Enrollment while in HS; 4-year only; 4-year + Major only, after prereqs; 4-year+upper division coursework…
