On collegeboard where it says tuition and fees does that mean the amount you pay for a whole year? Or do you have to include room and board fees to that amount, and that's how much you have to pay? I'm wondering b/c I just found out I got accepted to Ithaca College and I got $12,000 in merit scholarship so I want to know how much it really helps. I really hope tuition and fees is the total amount you pay b/c then my parents will totally be able to afford it! :)

He was able to reduce his book fees by a lot.
