So i'm pretty worried since other people at my school have already applied and I will not send my stuff in until early next week. My app will likely not be completed until about Nov 5-10. Others at my school have already completed it. Should I be worried that Tulane will admit them and then reject me since we're from the same school? They have the stats and interest to get admitted btw.

Tulane makes a big point at information sessions that they do NOT limit admissions from same schools. I know some high schools in suburban Chicago, for example, have often had a dozen or more students accepted in the same year, and my old high school in suburban St. Louis has sent as many a 7 or 8 in a single year. I am not sure how many more might have gotten accepted and gone elsewhere, but I would assume at least several. So that probably represents at least another dozen or so accepted from a single class. And those graduating classes are not huge, maybe 250 at most.

So no worries ;)

Thanks as always!

Fallen Chemist is correct. My son’s (a Tulane Sophomore) high school in suburban Chicago has over 25 applicants admitted to Tulane every year, and around 10 of them end up attending.
