Does U-M still not look at freshman year grades?

<p>(My high school doesn't rank students, by the way.)</p>

<p>I believe they do now, but it’s the least important year</p>

<p>Yeah, I’m pretty sure they do 9th - 11th (plus 12th midyear report if not EA), all classes, and go by this:
A/A- 4.0
B+/B/B- 3.0
C+/C/C- 2.0</p>

<p>…etc.</p>

<p>I was just confused 'cause some people were saying they still didn’t.</p>

<p>I was under the assumption that they looked “holistically” at every class you’ve taken during your first 3 years. I don’t think they still convert to a Michigan GPA.</p>

<p>That’s what the lady who came to my school earlier this year said…</p>
