Title says all. I got accepted into the school, but found out that I am missing one science class for the IGETC. Would it be find to send them the partial IGETC certification?

Call them and ask, or go to the UC transfer forum and ask. Wouldn’t they have known the classes you had when they accepted you, though? Or did you project finishing and then not do so?

No, UC Davis does not accept a partial IGETC. If you did not complete IGETC at your community college, you would have to do the UC Davis General Education requirements. (Keep in mind that the classes you took towards your IGETC are transferrable and often some transfer into the UC Davis GE Requirements. This way, you’re not technically redoing your general education all over at a new school)

I do recommend making up that class at your CC just to get the IGETC requirement, it seems much easier that way.

Source: I was talking to a counselor that did not receive my IGETC certification and was telling me to take the UC Davis GEs, they later received it and that was disregarded.

I went to orientation this summer and they said that partial IGETC is okay to fulfill language requirements so I don’t see why partial wouldn’t be accepted.

@collegevetting, did UC Davis accept your partial igetc certification? :-SS
