Since I like watching new movies

Yes, UCD has a nice movie theater. My D went to a movie there while she was visiting.

Depends on what you call good, I guess. I think that there are two. One has discounted rates on Tuesdays ( $4.00 I think) and it is walking distance from campus.

there are 4 and one of them is on campus

there are 2 movie theathers - F street & G street. G street has stadium seating, unlike F street. I believe both give student discounts - with valid ID card.
There is another theater downtown - on 2nd street, but I believe it does plays now not films.
On campus, they will occassionally play unreleased movies in one of the huge lecture halls.

There's 2 of them in downtown that I've gone to since elementary school. Holiday Cinema is the older one, with the big red columns; its still very nice and I think the screen might be bigger. And the Stadium theatre is the "newer" one. I think Holiday Cinema used to be locally owned, but then after the Stadium theatre was built by Signature, Signature also bought Holiday, and now both of them are owned by Regal. In the end, I still prefer to go to Holiday Cinema.
