I want to major in computer science but I don’t have a strong understanding of algebra 2 and pre-cal and don’t want to jump into calculus
Hi,
you can browse the course catalogs and classes once you are admitted into ucf. go to www.my.ucf.edu and under student self service and browse for classes. There are lower level classes, however they may only count as an elective depending on your major. this could be intermediate algebra, and college algebra
MAT1033 and MAC1105C. honestly both courses are very time consuming with poor teachers at UCF. most students avoid taking them here if possible and get the credit through Valencia as a transient. Its mostly teach yourself.
