I was wondering if UCLA, being a public school, cares about legacy at all? I know that can help you greatly at elite private universities, but will it help at UCLA?

No, it will not -- unless you are the son of John Wooden or something.

Even he'd probably get turned down; just to make a point, even!

what i love about UCLA is it is 100% blind to celebrity, wealth, legacy, and children of employees.

the TOTAL opposite of USC.

If I recall correctly, there may be scholarships associated with legacy, such as being a relative of an employee.

Doesn't count in admissions though.
