Does UCLA care if classes on TAU don't match with classes you took?

Since the TAU deadline was before some classes even started, I went ahead and put some classes I thought I would take on there. However, two of them I didn't take. One I'm taking this summer. And an art class was cancelled so I took another (for the IGETC requirement).

NONE of the classes I didn't take were pre-reqs (they were just kind of "filler" classes so I was a full-time student). I thought I needed a foreign language, but after talking to a counselor it turns out I didn't. I was going to take a class which I forgot I had previously taken at a different 4-year. I'll also be taking Calc 2 in the summer instead of in this semester. (My major is non-scientific, I'm just taking Calc because I like math.)

I just finished sending my updated transcript to them. Last semester I got straight A's so there was no problem there. Does UCLA care about some minor discrepancies (that do not even affect your major prep)?

Do they customarily rescind such acceptances? I'm elated that I got in, but it's sort of a dream come true so I'm freaking out a little.

You should be fine. But UCLA may not come back with a definitive “you are ok” right away since the campus seems to be moving toward consolidating all of the acceptance revocations until after transcript evaluation.

good luck. it sounds like you will be okay. of course “disclosure” is everything. keep them posted with accurate updates regarding your transcripts. and contact the department coordinator (listed on assist.org) and tell them exactly what your situation is, they will also provide some helpful information to you. congratulations. i might see you there in the fall!
